Discuss Your Plumbing Needs

Licensed Isn't Optional.

In a basement, plumbing is unforgiving. A small leak behind a wall or a drain that doesn't slope properly can ruin your entire investment. At Build It Right, we don't use handymen for plumbing. We only work with Licensed, Insured Master Plumbers who ensure everything meets code—and stays dry.

Plumbing Work

Code Compliance

Proper venting and drainage sizing to prevent sewer gases and slow drains.

Insured Work

Every connection is backed by professional liability and master plumbing licenses.

Permits & Inspection

We handle all municipal permits and inspections for a complete legal paper trail.

Complete Basement Plumbing

Bathroom Rough-Ins

New bathrooms where no plumbing exists. We handle concrete breaking, drain slope, and supply line installation.

Wet Bar & Kitchenettes

Adding sinks, dishwashers, and ice-maker lines for your entertainment area or rental suite.

Laundry Relocation

Moving washer boxes and standpipes to create a more functional laundry room in your new basement.

Mechanical Upgrades

Water heaters, softeners, and sump pump discharge lines—all integrated into your renovation.

No Rough-In?
No Problem.

If your basement is below the sewer line or you want to avoid breaking concrete, we specialize in Upflush Toilet Systems (like Saniflo). We pump the waste up to the main line, making a bathroom possible anywhere in your basement.

Plumbing FAQs

Do I need a permit for a basement bathroom?

Yes. Any modification to your home's DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) system requires a permit. We handle this entire process for you.

Can you move existing rough-ins?

Absolutely. If the builder put the pipes in the wrong spot, we can relocate them by cutting the slab or extending them within framing.

How long does rough-in take?

For a typical basement bathroom, rough-in plumbing usually takes 2-3 days, followed by a municipal inspection.

Will it affect my water pressure?

We evaluate your main line capacity. If you're adding many fixtures, we ensure your supply lines are sized correctly to maintain pressure.
